What is Hard Water ?
Hard water is water that contains dissolved minerals like calcium and magnesium which produces scale...and are difficult to clean.  If there are stains or build-up on your fixtures, sinks and bathtubs...If you have to use large amounts of soap to clean dishes or wash your hair...or if your water smells or tastes bad, you probably have hard water. Soft water is water free of hardness minerals. When you water has hardness the soap and detergents curd with the minerals leaving a film on your skin, hair and fixtures. This film can be very drying and irritating to the skin and scalp not to mention makes cleaning difficult.
